US Can be ''Role model'' to Muslim world - Obama
So, Uncle Obama, what could us Muslims learn from the great US, the red white and shite of America?
Well, for one, sorry to my fellow blacks out there, but if we really want to be like the great US, we'll all have to go back on the shackles for a few hundred years, followed by another century poultry welfare and police beatings. Wow!
So, Muslim women of the world, how can you be like the girls of your great American counterparts? Well, first of all you may aswell chuck any veils/headscarves/sari's/concealing clothes out and bring in mini-skirts, boob-tubes, low cut tops and all things slutty. Fed up of married life? Hey, why not have a boyfriend for a few weeks, sleep with him and never see him again, later to find out you have every sexually transmitted disease known to man. Fed up with your jobs? why not try your hand at pornography or getting your bits out for taccy magazines?
Lets not forget us guys, what can we learn from the great US of A? Well, it's a little known fact that a rape is reported every 10 minutes or so in the USA, a cultural export already introduced to Iraq by American soldiers. Also, many US citizens are ''clinically obese'', or extremely fat in simple terms, as many American, and indeed westerners, love to stuff their faces full of greasy food made cheap through exploitation of other nations. Nothing to do on a weekend? Why not go to a bar, get insanely drunk and start a fight? Just like they do in the great US of A.
Wow, what a wonderful role model the US is, wow, thanks uncle Barack.

Pope Visits Jordan, Fails To Apologise
''My visit to Jordan gives me a welcome opportunity to speak of my deep respect for the Muslim commnity, and to pay tribute to the leadership shown by His Majesty the King in promoting a better understanding of the virtues proclaimed by Islam. Now that some years have passed since the publication of the Amman Message and the Amman Interfaith Message, we can say that these worthy initiatives have achieved much good in furthering an alliance of civilizations between the West and the Muslim world...Dear Friends, at the Seminar held in Rome last autumn by the Catholic-Muslim Forum, the participants examined the central role played in our respective religious traditions by the commandment of love. I hope very much that this visit, and indeed all the initiatives designed to foster good relations between Christians and Muslims, will help us to grow in love for the Almighty and Merciful God, and in fraternal love for one another.''
Virtues? the virtues of Islam? our horrible and violent religion that you made it out to be. And now he says he wants to grow ''fraternal love'' between us. Wonder where that fraternal love was two years ago, or a few centuries back in the crusades...
Has the Pope been taking speech lessons from Obama?
Here's a thought, the Pope says that Islam was spread by the sword, is he sure he isn't getting Islam mixed up with Christianity? Lets take a brief look at history:
The crusades - Christian Europe wages religious war against Muslims, Pagan Slavs and Jews, Possibly millions were killed. Pope Alexander II gave his blessings to the crusaders.
The slave Trade/''Marc of Cain'' Nonesense - Christian Europe claimed that a Biblical story about the curse of Cain explained dark skin, and used this to justify slavery. Most African slaves were forced by the gun to convert to Christianity.
''Manifest Destiny'' - Based on the belief that Europeans were ''destined'' to take the American continent, this involved making native Americans ''civilised''. End result - almost absolute genocide of the native American peoples - all in the name of Christianity.
Spanish inquisition - Harassment by catholics on those forced to convert to the faith, mainly Jews, Muslims and Protestants, with torture and death for rule breakers. I think it's time that Christians and others began looking at themselves before speaking about our religion.

Answering Atheism
If god's real why do so many bad things happen?
Well, pretty much all religions have do's and dont's, because if you do you will all create a society full of bad things. It's fair to say pretty much all religions have their do's and dont's openly violated, so things go wrong in society, our faults not gods.
What about the big bang and other scientific discoveries?
If you looked at religions and their holy scripts, one inparticular might cause you to rethink.
Why does god allow people to die and get diseases like cancer?
If every person who has ever lived was still here, we'd all live in poverty. If you looked at religions you may find one that tells you to look after yourself (Excercise, healthy eating, no smoking maintain hygeine etc) if you do that, cancer and many other diseases are unlikely to come to you
Why would god let war happen?
God gives humans freewill, this way, those that do bad will know theyve done bad and be shown what they've done, then punished, so that a persons soul can be purified and not feel like they've been treated unjust.
Religion causes war
Does it? no religions tell people to fight war, sometimes religion can be used as an excuse by some, but those people aren't really in it for religion.
If religion can be used as an excuse then shouldn't it be done away with?
No. Gold has caused war, race has caused war, oil has caused war, they cant be gotten rid of anymore than faith, either because it's impossible or these things and others are needed by us. Were these things not around people would find other ''reasons''. There is only one cause of war, human beings.
Surely the world would be a better place without religion though?
No, it'd be far worse, without faith in a god or supreme being, people will have less morals, less guidance and less abstinance from things that they shouldn't be doing, then tell themselves there's ''nothing wrong with it''. The guidance of a religion can see a person maintain discipline and keep away from trouble
Back in caveman times and a while past that period, there was no proper concept of god or a supreme being, and when there was they were fabricated, or involved idol worship, and seen as favouring their tribe to butcher others, this before the holy scripts that forbin tribalism and brutality. There was definately no morality then. Brutal regimes, such as the Soviet regime and the North Korean regime, both declare/d atheism as their state religion. To this day, both North Korean and modern Russian society are known for lack of religiosity and ethical deprivation within their societys.
What's the evidence that suggests god is real?
Reverse the question, what's the evidence to suggest he isn't real? Most atheists have never read a holy book or script, so they have not heard the beliefs and explanations, if they did, again they may be surprised. They claim to not believe, yet they don't know what it is they are disbelieving. Another annoyance is that atheists based their arguements on making points against the bible, is Christianity the only religion?
Obama To Address Muslim World
"(It will demonstrate) how we can work together to ensure the safety and security and the future wellbeing through hope and opportunity of the children of this country and of the Muslim world," Said a White House spokesman, before going on to say "(It will demonstrate) how we can work together to ensure the safety and security and the future wellbeing through hope and opportunity of the children of this country and of the Muslim world...".
Well that's nice of him isn't it? Yh right!. Here we go again, Obama, the biggest crap-talker of the 21st century so far, intent on spewing out another one of this deceptive Mr. Nice Guy speeches to thousands of naive on-lookers, and once he's finished showering his spectators with fancy, kind words, brainwashing the masses, he retreats back to base, and from behind the walls of the White House, he shows his true colours.
For arguements sake, lets take our minds back to Obama's speech in Turkey:
''I know there have been difficulties these last few years. I know that the trust that binds us has been strained, and I know that strain is shared in many places where the Muslim faith is practiced. Let me say this as clearly as I can: the United States is not at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject.
But I also want to be clear that America’s relationship with the Muslim work cannot and will not be based on opposition to al Qaeda. Far from it. We seek broad engagement based upon mutual interests and mutual respect. We will listen carefully, bridge misunderstanding, and seek common ground. We will be respectful, even when we do not agree. And we will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better – including my own country. The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have Muslims in their family, or have lived in a Muslim-majority country – I know, because I am one of them.
Above all, we will demonstrate through actions our commitment to a better future. We want to help more children get the education that they need to succeed. We want to promote health care in places where people are vulnerable. We want to expand the trade and investment that can bring prosperity for all people. In the months ahead, I will present specific programs to advance these goals. Our focus will be on what we can do, in partnership with people across the Muslim world, to advance our common hopes, and our common dreams. And when people look back on this time, let it be said of America that we extended the hand of friendship.''
So, Mr.President, where was that ''respect'' when you launched an attack on pakistan that killed several civilians? An attack carried out when you didn't even have the permission of the Pakistani authorities, an attack that wasn't even a one off. Where was this ''respect'' during your presidential campaign, where you and your team delibaretly kept Muslim women in headscarves out of photographs at a Detroit event?
People, do not be fooled by Obama.

Answering Stereotypes
Or does it? Islamic states, including Bangladesh (three times), Indonesia, Pakistan(twice) and Turkey have all elected female heads of states, far outstripping the number of times this has happened in non-musim nations. Do you really think these women were abused at home and controlled by their husbands?
Here's what the Quran says
004.001 O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single Person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- Fear God, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for God ever watches over you.
004.004 And give the women (on marriage) their dower as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, Take it and enjoy it with right good cheer.
004.019 O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good.
004.128 If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, God is well-acquainted with all that ye do.
''Islam is a violent religion which caters for terrorism, war and violence towards non-muslims''
Not true actualy, Islam translates into ''peace''
Again, heres what the Quran says
008.061 But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).
It's also worth noting that suicide is forbidden in Islam.
Also, there are more wars against Muslims then what they start themselves, including American invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, the crusades and the actions of Israel.
''Islam the religion of Arabs and Pakistani people''
Indonesia - 200 million muslims
Nigeria - 67 million Muslims
China - 20 million Muslims
Russia - 25 million Muslims
Ethiopia - 30 million Muslims
Total number of Muslims worldwide = 1.5 billion
Saudi Arabia + Pakistan = 185 million
Arabs and pakistani people make up just the 12% of muslims

Obama's ''Afpak'' Plan
An air strike by the US military in Afghanistan earlier this week has killed more than 100 people, the vast majority of which women and children...
Now i get it - Obama's plan is to bully the two poor countries, bribing them into submission, probably threatening to withdraw aid whilst making demands upon the two countries, offering nothing in return, showing no respect for the sovereignty and civilian life in either country.
Obama, every body's favourite uncle Tom, sent Secretary of State Hilary Clinton to issue this half hearted ''apology'', here's what she had to say:
"We deeply regret it. We don't know all of the circumstances or causes. And there will be a joint investigation by your government and ours,"
Roughly translated into the Politico-American language, this reads:
''We know exactly what happened and to be honest we couldn't really care less, we just have to apologise so we don't look bad. Our government will not be investigating this incident thoroughly, and any evidence of foul play that is found will be swept under the rug, and the Afghan government will keep outta this if they know what's good for them!''
Meanwhile, Obama, instead of apologising to the conservative Muslim country and its people, proceeded to make yet more demands. Telling Pakistan and the Afghans to ''do more'' against the Taliban.
Now, i don't endorse the Taliban's overly strict interpretation, nor its alleged treatment of women in Afghanistan, but i cant help but wonder, why does America care? Some claim that the Taliban train terrorists and are accommodating Bin Laden, but what few people have been told is that the Taliban told the US that it would hand hand Bin Laden and others involved over, if they could provide sufficient evidence. The US and Co., after delivering the customary speech about ''bringing freedom and democracy'' before invading a foreign country, soon set off into Afghanistan, and, of course, Iraq shortly after.
So does America seek to fetch in Bin Laden? If so why did they not give them evidence, did i miss something? Does America want an end to anti-western Islamic extremism? Maybe, and maybe they are hiding in these lands and would love to kill westerners, however, there are quite a few people in the west who hate Muslims and would love to blow them up, and would happily beat up a Muslim they see in the streets after dark, so is it OK if Pakistan and Afghanistan invade the US and hunt these people down?Bomb targets on American soil and kill innocent people whilst they're at it?
Or, did the US seek to bring that ''democracy and freedom'' to both Afghanistan and Iraq? In a way, yes. To me it seems obvious that the US and the west wanted to invade these countries and install their ''democracies'', hoping that then, the countries neighbouring them would also follow suit, it makes sense, did they not do it to communists? Africans and Native Indians before this? The truth is that the west will not stop until the whole world does things their way, adopts their customs and force their culture. They wouldn't stop until the communists privatised their markets, they wouldn't stop until the Native Indians converted to their religion, and now they wont stop until the Afghan and Iraqi men are seen stumbling out of a pub at 4AM in downtown Kabul or Baghdad, until their women are splashed across the front covers of porn DVDs across the world, until all traces of the Shariah are wiped off the agenda, traded in for man-made ''democracy''. Makes perfect sense, this way, Iraq, Afghanistan and the countries around it will become subservient to the US. However, the majority of decent Muslims know that Democracy is no substitute for a just Shariah rule.
Anyway, back to now, the recent bombings in Afghanistan which killed several civilians. Doesn't Obama realise he will go the way of George bush this way? and that more people can be radicalised, making his problem worse. So much for ''change''.

Sodom and Gamorrah - A True Story
The Background
''And Lut, when he said to his people, "Do you commit an obscenity not perpetrated before you by anyone in all the worlds? You come with lust to men instead of women. You are indeed a depraved people." (Qur'an, 7:80-81)
The aftermath
''[Our Messengers said to Lut,] "We will bring down on the inhabitants of this city a devastating punishment from heaven because of their deviance." We have left a Clear Sign of them behind for people who use their intellect.'' (Qur'an, 29:34-35)
''We turned the place completely upside down and rained down on them stones of hard-baked clay. There are certainly Signs in that for the discerning. They were beside a road which still exists. There is certainly a Sign in that for the believers.'' (Qur'an, 15:74-77)
''We rained down a rain upon them. See the final fate of the evildoers!'' (Qur'an, 7:84)
The ruins of Somon and Gamorrah lie near the dead sea, in recent times, a German archaeologist concluded:
''Together with the base of this mighty fissure, which runs precisely through this area, the Vale of Siddim, including Sodom and Gomorrah, plunged one day into the abyss. Their destruction came about through a great earthquake which was probably accompanied by explosions, lightning, issue of natural gas and general conflagration… The subsidence released volcanic forces that had been lying dormant deep down along the whole length of the fracture. In the upper valley of the Jordan near Bashan there are still towering craters of extinct volcanoes; great stretches of lava and deep layers of basalt have been deposited on the limestone surface.''
[Just a few of many miracles. This blog will be updated when i've got the time]
And remember, i don't seek to change beliefs, i seek to change presmuptions and ill-thought thinking patters common these days.
The Beginning
Thinking back to all that went before, the bad times and the better times, accepting the sacrifices i'd have to take, the lifestyle changes i'd have to make. I accepted them because i knew it was for the best, and that this was the will of Allah, his call clear and his timing most wise. I'd been considering adopting Islam for months beforehand, and spent time learning about it, the more i learnt, the more sense it made, me and my potential religion agreed on so many principles, to me it seemed not the least outdated, it's doctrine and beliefs clear and simple, and, most of all, something i believed in. Indeed, Allah's timing was wise, as four days before converting, my sister, Tiana was born. With my older brother being 22, and my older sister being 21, and my younger sister being just 8, the chances were that, at just seventeen years old, i'd be the only one of my new sisters siblings that will be active and present in her growing years. I realised that there's a good chance that Allah has shown me the light and saved me from the fate of my then fellow non-believers and in exchange gave to me a responsibility towards my sister. All that went before, it all comes down to this day.
I stepped inside the small prayer room, where young children gathered to learn from the Quran, across from them was the Imam along with a handful of other community elders, they'd been waiting for me. They explained a few formalities before the imam outstretched his right hand, telling me to take it, at this moment, on the 27th of December 2008, i became a Muslim, by proclaiming ''ašhadu ʾal lā ilāha illa l-Lāh, wa ʾašhadu ʾanna muḥammadar rasūlu l-Lāh''.
It's now been some fivemonths since that day, and i haven't looked back since. The changes i've made to my life have slowly blended into normality and the initial shockwaves caused by me reverting to Islam have faded. So what am i doing here? There's alot i can do here by sharing my experiences and posting what will hopefully be helpful and informative blogs for Muslims and non-Muslims. My page is a little empty right now because i'm new here, and hardly know how to use this this at the moment, it'll come with time i'm sure, but be sure to leave comments on my upcoming posts, opinions and debate is welcome.
