Obama's ''Afpak'' Plan

An air strike by the US military in Afghanistan earlier this week has killed more than 100 people, the vast majority of which women and children...

Now i get it - Obama's plan is to bully the two poor countries, bribing them into submission, probably threatening to withdraw aid whilst making demands upon the two countries, offering nothing in return, showing no respect for the sovereignty and civilian life in either country.

Obama, every body's favourite uncle Tom, sent Secretary of State Hilary Clinton to issue this half hearted ''apology'', here's what she had to say:

"We deeply regret it. We don't know all of the circumstances or causes. And there will be a joint investigation by your government and ours,"

Roughly translated into the Politico-American language, this reads:

''We know exactly what happened and to be honest we couldn't really care less, we just have to apologise so we don't look bad. Our government will not be investigating this incident thoroughly, and any evidence of foul play that is found will be swept under the rug, and the Afghan government will keep outta this if they know what's good for them!''

Meanwhile, Obama, instead of apologising to the conservative Muslim country and its people, proceeded to make yet more demands. Telling Pakistan and the Afghans to ''do more'' against the Taliban.

Now, i don't endorse the Taliban's overly strict interpretation, nor its alleged treatment of women in Afghanistan, but i cant help but wonder, why does America care? Some claim that the Taliban train terrorists and are accommodating Bin Laden, but what few people have been told is that the Taliban told the US that it would hand hand Bin Laden and others involved over, if they could provide sufficient evidence. The US and Co., after delivering the customary speech about ''bringing freedom and democracy'' before invading a foreign country, soon set off into Afghanistan, and, of course, Iraq shortly after.

So does America seek to fetch in Bin Laden? If so why did they not give them evidence, did i miss something? Does America want an end to anti-western Islamic extremism? Maybe, and maybe they are hiding in these lands and would love to kill westerners, however, there are quite a few people in the west who hate Muslims and would love to blow them up, and would happily beat up a Muslim they see in the streets after dark, so is it OK if Pakistan and Afghanistan invade the US and hunt these people down?Bomb targets on American soil and kill innocent people whilst they're at it?

Or, did the US seek to bring that ''democracy and freedom'' to both Afghanistan and Iraq? In a way, yes. To me it seems obvious that the US and the west wanted to invade these countries and install their ''democracies'', hoping that then, the countries neighbouring them would also follow suit, it makes sense, did they not do it to communists? Africans and Native Indians before this? The truth is that the west will not stop until the whole world does things their way, adopts their customs and force their culture. They wouldn't stop until the communists privatised their markets, they wouldn't stop until the Native Indians converted to their religion, and now they wont stop until the Afghan and Iraqi men
are seen stumbling out of a pub at 4AM in downtown Kabul or Baghdad, until their women are splashed across the front covers of porn DVDs across the world, until all traces of the Shariah are wiped off the agenda, traded in for man-made ''democracy''. Makes perfect sense, this way, Iraq, Afghanistan and the countries around it will become subservient to the US. However, the majority of decent Muslims know that Democracy is no substitute for a just Shariah rule.

Anyway, back to now, the recent bombings in Afghanistan which killed several civilians. Doesn't Obama realise he will go the way of George bush this way? and that more people can be radicalised, making his problem worse. So much for ''change''.
